The Deputy Chief Minister, who is also an Energy Minister, held a review meeting with officials on Naini coal block at the Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Bhatti Vikramarka has recently visited Odisha and held discussions with that State Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi regarding the issues related Naini coal block. With the initiative of Bhatti, the Naini coal block has been allotted to Singareni Colliries.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that as the 135 year old State owned Singareni Company is taking up the first project outside Telangana, the officials should take up the mining work in such a manner to enhance the reputation of State government and the Singareni company while keeping the welfare of local people in mind.
