US Polls: Battleground States Key To Who Will Be President

With just two weeks left for Election Day, all eyes are on the battleground states that would decide who will occupy the White House next year. Both Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic Party's Kamala Harris are essentially tied in five critical battleground states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin and North Carolina, according to The New York Times. Georgia and Arizona are the other two swing states.

But as the battle for these states gained further momentum, Trump toured the areas struck by Hurricane Helene in Asheville, North Carolina and continued to spew venom on the four "depressing years" under Joe Biden and Harris while promising the US a golden era ahead. Harris, who turned 60 Sunday, made an aggressive bid to win over independents and moderate Republicans in the suburbs, visiting vote-rich counties in three Great Lakes swing states on Monday with former Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney.
