Wayanad relief fund: Can only spare ₹61.53cr, Kerala tells HC

The Kerala Government told the High Court on Thursday that though it has Rs 638.97 crore in the State Disaster Relief Fund, it can spare only Rs 61.53 cr for the Wayanad landslide victims as it has to meet previous commitments.

However, the Court said that it has to produce the utilisation certificates of the prior commitment before seeking help from the Centre.
