A statement from Southwark coroner's court said: "This is to confirm that Ms O'Connor died of natural causes. The coroner has therefore ceased their involvement in her death." A musical tribute to the singer and the Pogues' frontman, Shane MacGowan - a friend of O'Connor who died in November - is planned at New York's Carnegie Hall.
Dropkick Murphys, the Mountain Goats, and Glen Hansard, who performed the Pogues' hit Fairytale Of New York at MacGowan's funeral in December, are among the acts scheduled to perform.
The concert on 20 March will feature other collaborators and friends of the artists who will perform and remember their lives and work at what has been billed as the Sinéad & Shane celebration.
