"I'm a massive fan. I've grown up with his music because my parents always had him on and I've never seen him before," he said.
Thousands of fans had staked a place at the front of the Pyramid by midday, armed with sun cream, sequins and, most crucially, tablets to suppress any unwelcome bowel movements that might cost them their prime spot.
