Azaz is showing his class for Middlesbrough
The Herald|December 03, 2024
PLYMOUTH Argyle fans already knew it, but now the whole of the Championship realises that Finn Azaz is one of the top attacking talents in the division after a scintillating spell of form from the gifted 24-year-old.
Azaz is showing his class for Middlesbrough

The Green Army saw the potential of Azaz start to develop during two loan spells with the Pilgrims, first in League One during the 2022/23 title-winning campaign and then over the first half of the Championship campaign last term.

He was hitting new heights when, sadly for Argyle, Azaz was recalled by Aston Villa at the start of January to be sold to Middlesbrough for a transfer fee of around £2 million.

That pricetag was beyond the Pilgrims' financial reach and they have not been able to find an adequate replacement for him.
