An 11-0 win for runaway leaders Fawn B over Beacon Park saw John Mann (27.83) win 3-0 thanks in part to legs in 17 and 18 darts.
Fred Goldsmith added a second leg in 17 for the victors in his 3-0 singles win whilst the duo both ended the night on 11 tons each, whilst Andy Bates also scored well with ten tons.
Mann’s tally was propped up by one of the three maximums during the affair with the other two coming from the arm of Sean Taylor.
Mark Shears (25.05) produced an 18-dart leg in a fabulous 3-0 win during Cherry Tree B’s 8-3 success at St Levans.
Shears’ team-mate Mike Whatley lit up proceedings with his consistent scoring efforts yielding a 16-ton haul.
Shears’ 18-darter wasn’t the only one of its kind as Whatley nailed a second of the game, which proved crucial in a 3-2 triumph.
Whatley was supported well in the scoring phase by Phil Hoyle, who put up ten scores of a ton or more, whilst the only maximum of the game went to Scott Wapshott.
Top scorer for the defeated home side was Tex Pearce who meandered his way to a personal haul of ten tonplusses.
Neal Walters (24.64) starred in all disciplines of Victory Fireballs 7-4 win over Fawn A as he secured a 180 and a 110 checkout in a fine singles 3-0 win, which topped his ton tally up to the ten mark.
Scott Cook and Jack McMinn shared 30 tons equally between them in a 7-4 win for Cook’s King Billy over McMinn’s Bluebird.
