In midweek, Tavistock showed once again that, on their day, they are a match for anyone with a superb 2-1 win at Mousehole which pulled them away from the relegation zone and delivered a dagger into the heart of Mousehole's hopes of closing the gap on league leaders Yate Town.
That win made it two from two for Stuart Henderson's Lambs and a win against Didcot Town tomorrow would not only make it three in a row, but see them get right in amongst a plethora of teams chasing a play-off place.
"I said on Saturday that I thought it (FA Trophy) was a distraction for us and I think it actually took away from the aims of our season," top marksman Liam Prynn said, referring to a 4-0 home defeat to Winchester in the first round of the FA Trophy last week. "Now, I think it's a really good opportunity to build on that, we have had two wins in the league in the last two, we have another game on Saturday and with the form we are in right now, we can look forward to it and really attack the game."
