HOURS after an unexploded bomb was found in a garden in Keyham last week, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) charity was deployed in Plymouth to support emergency services working at the scene.

Volunteers from RRT provided food and hot drinks to bomb disposal teams and to some of the thousands of residents who had to be evacuated.

RRT, which is made up of volunteers from the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, specialises in offering practical support to emergency services at the scene of emergencies and major incidents.
