Cruel call after dog vanishes

A CRUEL hoax call has been made to the devastated owners of a Jack Russell who disappeared from his home. Jack has not been seen for nearly three weeks after going missing from Landulph, between St Mellion and Saltash.

The four-year-old pooch went outside to go to the toilet in the evening of Friday, September 22. Jack never returned inside the property.

Jack's owners have spent the last few weeks searching far and wide for their furry loved one - and they have said it is not like him to disappear, describing it as "completely out of character"

Tory Aubrey-Fletcher, who is coordinating the search on behalf of her distraught parents, said it's been devastating for the family, who have not had any positive leads and have no idea if their beloved Jack is dead or alive. Just this week, her mum received a cruel call from a withheld number claiming they'd run over and killed Jack, before calling back and saying he was actually alive.
