A PLYMOUTH pub which locals have campaigned to save once again faces a fight to survive. Residents from St Judes and Prince Rock have fought to save The Grenville from being turned into flats.
The Grenville pub has been at the centre of a planning row. The building is owned by private landlord Andrew Cotterell who wanted to convert the historical pub into three flats, but the scheme was rejected by Plymouth City Council on July 12.
That news delighted locals who hoped it was the first step towards the historic boozer re-opening.
But those dreams may be dashed as plans have now been resubmitted to Plymouth City Council.
