MONDAY PREMIER LEAGUE

Gavican fired an unbeaten 15 tons overall, whilst Andrew Cook was the top-scoring player for the defeated team with 14 three-figure scores.

Both Gavican and Cook added to Scott Cook’s maximum, whilst Antony Hayman’s modest but respectable 76 checkout was the best of all 31 finishes in the match.

Gavican opened the individual phase with a 3-1 win that contained the first 15-darter of the match before Hayman replicated that feat in a 3-0 reversal.

Scott Cook was the third man to hear ‘game shot’ called after throwing 15 darts before Andrew Cook made it a quartet in a 3-1 success that also contained legs two 18 darters.

John Mann heard scores of a ton or more called no fewer than 13 times during an 8-3 win for champions-elect Tradesmans in a visit to Cherry Tree A.

Mann wasn’t the only member of the visiting party to show good form as three members of the team were eleven-ton-hitters.

Fred Goldsmith, Scott Wapshott and Lee Agar made up that trio, whilst Jaden Whitting finished his night’s work on ten tons.

Agar’s tally was accented by a 116 that was the highest checkout of the week across all fixtures whilst Goldsmith and Mann were the only members of the team to find a three treble visit.

Another 11 tons came from the home contingent as Mike Whatley fired that amount of three-figure scores, whilst the singles phase was littered with world-class arrows.

Goldsmith opened up in the individuals with a 3-0 win that contained a leg in 18 darts, whilst Mann was a 3-1 winner thanks to legs in 18, 18 and 17.
