RYAN Hardie is aiming to keep getting among the goals and play his part in pushing Plymouth Argyle further up the Championship table.
The in-form Scottish striker became the top scorer in the division when he netted for the fifth time this season in the away game against Ryan Lowe's Preston North End.
However, that goal came when the Pilgrims were trailing 2-0 in the second half at Deepdale and despite applying plenty of pressure after Hardie hit the target they could not come up with an equaliser. It was their third defeat of the campaign, and all of them have been by 2-1 scorelines.
Argyle are 14th in the Championship after games and it is more important to six Hardie they improve on that position than reflecting too much on his superb scoring form. "It has to go to the back of my mind," he said. "The goals don't matter if we get nothing from the game.
