DAME EMMA HAILS EFFORTS MADE BY PLYMOUTH HIGH
Hollywood star amazes pupils with message

HOLLYWOOD actor Emma Thompson has sent a personal message of thanks to students at Plymouth High School for Girls, after they reenacted some of her most famous movie scenes.

Plymouth High School for Girls, which has a house system, holds an annual drama festival where each house puts forward representatives to deliver a show based on an assigned theme.

For this academic year, the theme was iconic actors and actresses, where pupils paid homage to famous scenes from their films.

While actors Tom Hanks, Will Smith and Zendaya Coleman were represented, students in Kendall House were the winners with their scenes based on the work of Dame Emma Thompson.
