Already operating with a small squad, the Parkway boss took his side to high-riding Gosport Borough last week and their gritty display earned them a valuable point from a 1-1 draw.
It was another excellent performance from Parkway, whose away form is fantastic right now, and what made it all the more special was that it was achieved with several players missing through injury and illness.
“To go to Gosport with 12 fit players and have two 16-year-olds on the bench to make up the numbers is testament to us at this moment in time,” Hobbs said. “I have a really honest group of footballers all of a similar age giving it everything they have got for us, for each other and for the football club and it was a really good point.
“Jack (Bray-Evans) is going to be missing for about six weeks, he has a groin problem which needs treating, so he is away from the group at the minute and we don’t expect to see him until the end of February.
“Ryan Lane felt last week was just too soon for him. His rehab programme has gone really well though and the plan is to give him 45 minutes at Willand, so hopefully he can come through that and be available on Saturday.
