Launched by YMCA Plymouth, the awards, sponsored by Westcotts, will be presented on June 20, in 16 categories recognising young people up to the age of 18 who are making a positive impact in their communities.

MYKHAILO (MISHA) CHERNYSH
MISHA’S journey to Eggbuckland Community College in Year 11 from Ukraine was marked by significant challenges, including adapting to a new country, culture, and language while coping with the emotional upheaval of leaving his homeland due to conflict.
However, Misha’s unwavering determination and resilience propelled him forward. He diligently worked to overcome language barriers and achieved outstanding results in his GCSEs, showcasing his remarkable potential.
