A PLYMOUTH mum has been able to ditch chewing Rennies, after finding a 'cure'.
Joy Oliver decided to join Slimming World in February this year after reaching her heaviest weight - and suffering with indigestion regularly. Now, the 65-year-old has not had to have "a single one since starting Slimming World".
Joy says she was on the verge of visiting the GP about her issue, but now the problem has gone away. She added: "Even my blood pressure has dropped and I'm finding long walks so much easier. The changes I have made haven't been much of a sacrifice for the benefits I've had."
Although the indigestion was one of benefits she has seen, it was trying on a pair of jeans that led to Joy walking into the Compton Slimming World group. The jeans she tried in her 'usual size' were too tight and she was 'determined not to go up a size! She then took her sister's recommendation to join the weight loss group.
