THE exit of two Conservative ministers last week may signal a renewed opportunity for the families of those killed in the horrific Keyham shootings to finally see the gun law changes they have demanded, a Plymouth MP has claimed.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Cabinet reshuffle last week saw controversial Home Secretary Suella Braverman sacked and replaced by James Cleverly.
Luke Pollard, the Labour MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, said Ms Braverman had originally agreed to meet him and the families of those killed on August 12, 2021, as part of the campaign to improve current gun laws and police processes on shotgun licensing.
