Officers from the Plymouth North neighbourhood team recently highlighted the increase in motorbike thefts around the northern parts of the city via their Facebook page, adding that they were "conducting proactive patrols across the city to bring offenders to justice" A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police later confirmed that "plain-clothes officers are also being deployed in these areas".
