HOME PARK PITCH NOT READY TO HOST GAMES
CHRIS ERRINGTON
PRE-SEASON REVISED

PLYMOUTH Argyle have confirmed that the resurfaced Home Park pitch will not be ready in time for the planned pre-season fixtures Forest Green Rovers and Salford City later this month.

The Pilgrims will still play Forest Green on Saturday, July 22, but in a behind-closed-doors game at their Harper's Park training ground and the visit of Salford, scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, has been cancelled completely.

It has also been announced that Argyle will play away to an un-named League One club in another behind-closed-doors game tomorrow.

This fixture replaces one against a Premier League side, which was also scheduled to be played behind-closed-doors at the weekend.
