The two sides had to meet again after a 2-2 draw at Bolitho Park on Saturday and, just like the first game, Parkway fell behind when James Ollis scored on ten minutes.

Both sides had chances in an open game and Parkway drew level on 50 minutes through Callum Hall before Ollis claimed his second goal of the night.

Parkway had a great chance to equalise in stoppage time when they were awarded a late penalty, but Ryan Lane’s effort was saved by the Frome goalkeeper.

Two changes were made with Ryan Lane, returning from suspension, and Alex Cairo starting in place of Mikey Williams and Callum Hall, who were named as substitutes. Frome named an unchanged starting XI.

The game started at a lively pace with George Rigg firing wide on six minutes with Parkway responding with Shane White’s cross finding Matt Wright who saw his header saved by Kyle Phillips.

Frome took the lead on 12 minutes after Ollis picked up a loose ball just outside the 18-yard area and fired home a low drive through a crowded penalty box with Parkway goalkeeper Adam Parkes appearing to slip on the greasy surface.

Play continued at a lively pace and on 25 minutes Frome broke along the left forcing a couple of corners the first of which was cleared behind with the second being bundled off the line by Parkes.

Parkway continued to compete well and on 26 minutes Jack Crago headed narrowly wide after a cross from the right.
