Mark Weymouth’s (2) game with Glynn Price (Chaddy) was very close with Weymouth winning 12-10 in the fifth game, but Weymouth’s winning point was by a net and edge which was doubly lucky.
The doubles saw Weymouth and Martin Parnell lead 5-1 in the fifth game but Tony Sweet (three) and Price managed to recover to win the game 11-8 and win the match 6-4.
Another great performance from Jan Walaszkowski and Dan Kayes, both taking maximums, saw them defeat Chaddlewood (Molyneux Assoc) B 8-2.
The longest game saw Colin Mitchell win 20-18 over Russ Keith but, despite this, Mitchell lost in five games.
Crafthole A called on Holly Davis to play but unfortunately came up a little short in two matches against Astor A.
