Jack Thompson-Chapple and his dad, Geoff Thompson, were fishing off the Barbican a few weeks ago when Jack made the huge catch.
Although at first, the seven-year-old believed his fishing line was snagged and that there was nothing biting on the other end, he was in for quite the shock when he pulled out a massive 16-pound conger eel. Geoff said the eel was so strong it almost pulled Jack into the water but after managing to reel it in, he was delighted by his catch.
