THE Yard Sessions are back this summer in Plymouth, bringing the best of local musical talent to Royal William Yard. The stage is set for the free open-air gigs at Plymouth’s popular waterside destination.
The yard’s Grade I listed buildings promise to form a dramatic backdrop to the series of gigs. Visitors can look forward to chilled tunes on select Friday evenings from 5:308pm between May and September.
It’s a chance to sit back and relax as the sun goes down, and discover an eclectic mix of live music amidst the stunning coastal scenery.
Yard Sessions are hosted by South West SUP, metres from the sea at Firestone Arch. Enjoy refreshments and light bites from The Shack, wine from by Le Vignoble and beer from Steel Brew. Make an evening of it and dine at one of the many eateries, or grab food to go using the conveniently placed QR codes to enjoy a meal with music. Stay for longer, sink into velvet sofas and enjoy Everyman Cinema’s Friday ‘Late Nights Season’ screenings.
With a mix of firm favourites and Yard Sessions newcomers, this is the 2024 Yard Sessions line-up:
