Clair Iles and Pablo Munoz say they took a 'gamble' opening the Western Road shop outside of the town centre. Clair, who is originally from the Midlands, said trade is healthy with some customers travelling from as far as Oxford for its alternative clothing.
Pablo, who lives in Ivybridge, has been into the gothic way of life and wearing alternative clothing since he was a boy. Clair offers massage therapy, reiki and card readings in the back room, while the rest is filled with unique items such as steampunk clothing, crystals and holistic gifts.
Clair said: "We have been here for over 12 months. It is a bit of a crossover shop, it has a gothic kind of theme. We have got some steampunk clothing, as well as having a Victorian vibe. We have got gift items, crystals and holistic gifts. We also offer massage therapy, reiki and card readings. We have it all going on here to be honest.
