STUDENTS at several more schools in and around Plymouth have achieved success in their A-levels, after results were released this week.
Ivybridge Community College said half of their sixth form cohort achieved passes at grades A* to B, while more than three-quarters were at C or Merit and above.
A total of 171 students from the sixth form at Ivybridge applied to university, with 80% securing a place at the institution of their choice.
They included twins Katie and Jenny Pitcher who both secured places at Oxford University, with Katie reading Psychology and Philosophy, and Jenny reading English and Spanish.
Youssef Abdellaoui has also been successful in gaining a place at Medical school and Ed Slater will be studying Dentistry.
Other top performers include Thomas Blackburn, Morgan Channon, Grace Hawkins, Lucy Farnham, Oscar McKenna, Elysia Morris, Martha Rundle, Jed Soper and Harvey White.
Two students also secured higher level degree apprenticeships and others have secured places at prestigious dance and drama schools.
