A PLYMOUTH woman is celebrating spending three decades volunteering for the National Trust at Saltram. Pam Pearce has been described as an "exceptional volunteer" who has helped thousands of people throughout the years.
Pam, who is known as 'Purple Pam' to her friends and colleagues has always had a love for Saltram, with her family saying it is "almost an obsession that keeps going".
The National Trust has said Pam "represents everything" they love about the people who volunteer their help at the Grade 1-listed George II era house in Plympton.
