A MAN who slammed his Ford Transit van into a motorcyclist before dragging him nearly a kilometre along the A38 has been cleared of murder - but has already pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
The forewoman of the jury was asked by the clerk of the court if all 12 members had come to a verdict, to which she replied they had.
Asked for the verdict with regard to the count of murder against Benjamin Parry, the forewoman said their verdict was not guilty.
