Junior doctors to go on a statewide strike in T'gana over pending demands
The Morning Standard|June 24, 2024
AROUND 6,000 junior doctors from 26 medical colleges across the state will be going on an indefinite strike from Monday, in response to the inaction by the state government towards their long pending demands.
AARTI KASHYAP

The strike, which is led by the Telangana Junior Doctors Association will be held from 9 AM to 4 PM, with high-action protests during the OP hours between 9 AM-12 PM.

The strike comes days after the T-JUDA submitted a letter to the director of medical education on June 18, listing out their specific demands and intimating about the strike in case of failure of a tangible action by the authorities.
