MISSION Anganwadi, the current initiative undertaken by the Kasaragod development package (KDP), is actively engaged in a comprehensive search to identify suitable land for the establishment of anganwadi, which have been working in rental buildings. Currently, 1,201 anganwadis in the district have the advantage of operating on their own lands and in their own buildings, out of a total of 1,348 anganwadis. Apart from that, 21 anganwadis have successfully acquired the land and resources needed for construction and are fully prepared to begin building their own dedicated premises soon.
