MP Govind M Karjol raised the issue of KV in the parliament and the Union government gave its assurance to start the new KV. The new KV will be functioning temporarily at the Government Science College campus and the construction work of the full-fledged campus at the 15 acres located at Kunchiganal on Bengaluru Road will be functional shortly.
He also said that, the Bengaluru regional head of the KV will be called for the discussions and the civil works will begin shortly.
