Umptuous food has always been an integral part of Kalolsavams and participants and those accompanying them look forward to tasting the scrumptious fare that is served. On the first day of the Kalolsavam, Finance Minister K N Balagopal inaugurated the food service by serving breakfast to a participant in the presence of Kadakampally Surendran MLA.
Speaking about the food, Minister Balagopal said, "I had breakfast with MLA Kadakampally Surendran. We had puttu and kadala for breakfast. It was delicious. Different kinds of vegetarian food will be served in the coming hours. Paalada payasam and boli will be served as desserts. Let the students focus on their performances rather than the food for now."
