The initiative was part of the activities of the Vigilance and Monitoring Committee formed as per a High Court order. The inspection involved the active participation of officials from the Local Self-Government Department (LSGD), Pollution Control Board, Mining and Geology Department, and the police.
The findings from the first inspection, conducted on October 29, have already been submitted to the district collector for further action.
