Demanding capital punishment for accused Qasim Rehan, ABVP, Karni Sena and Sanskriti Bachao Manch workers, joined by the parents of the students of the school, protested outside the school.

Angry protestors vandalised the school's signboard and burnt the effigy of the arrested accused. Heavy police force deployed outside the school, however, ensured that the mob didn't storm the campus.
