PAGASA weather specialist Ana Clauren-Jorda said one of the LPAS was located 440 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.
"The LPA (in Casiguran, Aurora) has a low chance of turning into a typhoon within the next 24 to 48 hours but we continue to monitor it due to its distance to Philippine landmass. Even if it is only an LPA, it is possible that it will bring rains especially in the Cagayan area and Isabela," Clauren-Jorda said.
Another LPA the weather bureau is monitoring was located 2,145 km east of Eastern Visayas.
