Anti-incumbency tradition in HP should continue, it helps keep politicians grounded: Priyanka

“The leaders learn from it, as they know that they have 5 years, either they perform or else they will be sent packing,” she said, appealing the public not to change the tradition as it will be a loss to them.

While addressing a rally in Mandi on Monday, she said, “Himachal Pradesh is a land of customs and traditions and every person of the state should be proud of it. The people of the state are self-respecting and they should go by their experience.” “Try to weigh what has been done in the last five years by the BJP. And also take into consideration what Congress has to offer. We are making promises and also fulfilling them in the states where Congress has been voted to power,” assured Priyanka Gandhi.
