Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi, meanwhile, refuted Mrs Gandhi's charge, contending that calling a Parliament session was the prerogative of the government.
Ahead of the special fiveday session of Parliament, Mrs Gandhi wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the Opposition parties were also not aware of the agenda of the session. "None of us have any idea of the agenda. All we have been communicated is that all five days have been allocated for government business," she said in the two-page letter.
