Nicolas Jackson is growing in confidence, and he demonstrated that by firing Chelsea to a 3-0 English Premier League win against West Ham United on Sept 21 with a decisive double at the London Stadium.
The Senegal striker struck twice in the first half, before Cole Palmer wrapped up the Blues' third win in five league games under new manager Enzo Maresca.
It was a well-timed brace from Jackson, who was Chelsea's first-choice striker for the day, despite Christopher Nkunku's match-winning impact against Bournemouth last weekend.
"Growing higher with my teammates, they help me a lot and they have confidence in me," he told TNT Sport.
"I have been injured for two months, I come back fresh and I hope to get more. I am trying to work hard and do more than last year." Maresca added: "The performance from Nicolas and Cole was top; not only because they scored but... the way they work off the ball has been top. If we understand that we need that and with the desire, we can probably build something important."
