State govt considering night safari for Johor Zoo

The Johor state government is considering introducing a night safari at the Johor Zoo to attract more visitors, said its Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

He said that some 500,000 local and international visitors have visited the zoo since its reopening on Aug 31, 2024.

Datuk Onn Hafiz said that in the state's 2025 budget, RM5 million (S$1.51 million) has been allocated for the zoo's second phase development.
