Kids as young as 4 bringing weapons to school

CHILDREN as young as four are carrying blades in schools.

Police in England and Wales have records of nearly 500 kids aged 11 and under caught with the weapons in the last four school years.

But the true figure could top 1,000, as only half of the 43 forces responded to our Freedom of Information request.

Weapons include kitchen knives, scissors, penknives and Stanley knives.
