MY MISSION IS TO PREVENT ANOTHER BRIANNA TRAGEDY

The two teenagers who killed the transgender 16-year-old meticulously planned their sadistic attack on the Snapchat app.

Emma, 43, has mounted a quest to educate parents on how to keep kids away from social media and monitor their behaviour online.

She steadfastly believes that parental intervention could steer youngsters away from violence and ultimately save lives.

And she's even banning mobiles at her own school from September.

The headteacher says: "You can't turn back time - but if monitoring controls had been in place, maybe someone would have been alerted to something

"The vast majority of parents are not taking these steps, through no fault of their own, which is why we are pushing for them to become the norm and not the exception."

INTERVENTION

Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe were 15 when they lured Brianna to a park last February and stabbed her 28 times.

The pair, now 16, were jailed for life four months ago for the "exceptionally brutal" killing Mrs Justice Yip, who sentenced them at Manchester Crown Court, said Jenkinson, who will serve at least 22 years, was motivated by a "deep desire to kill", while Ratcliffe. who got 20-plus years, was partly spurred by his hostility to Brianna's transgender identity.
