Traffic chaos eases, curbs continue on J Hills roads

A day after traffic chaos on Road Number 45, Jubilee Hills, and surrounding areas due to diversions put in place by the Hyderabad traffic police, the vehicular movement in the area improved considerably on Saturday.

Hyderabad traffic police said that they will continue with the restrictions and ground-level situation in the area will be closely monitored for a few more days to ensure that motorists do not face any difficulties.

Though the traffic moved at a snail's pace throughout the day, no traffic jams were reported on Road No. 45. Due to the newly provided U-turn below Durgam Cheruvu flyover for vehicles heading towards BR Ambedkar Open University, traffic jams were noticed occasionally on the flyover. But once the vehicles got off the flyover and on to Road No. 45, the traffic movement was continuous, albeit a bit slow.
