In a chat, she clears the air about what has kept her away from the telly world, overcoming her eating disorder and getting trolled for her fashion sense. Excerpts:
There have been talks about how you are vocal about not getting work in the industry. Is that true?
It has been misconstrued. Yes, there has been a two-year gap since I worked on a big project, but that does not mean I am without work. I have acted in numerous music videos and have constantly been promoting them throughout the year. Somewhere I might have said that the offers coming to me were not interesting, but people started assuming, ‘Nia ke paas kaam nahi hai, she needs work.’
