Mumbai: He said the issues raised by them in a seven-page letter handed over to his government were those that their own government (the MVA) had not fulfilled.
“Our government is only one-and-a-half months old and yet we have taken over 700 decisions. We have also announced our decision to almost double the compensation to farmers affected by floods. The previous government in the state had stayed projects meant for public welfare for over 2 years just out of political vendetta. We are not doing that,’’ the chief minister said.
