Mumbai: Central Railway’s main line air-conditioned services are expected to cross the 50-figure mark next week as authorities have decided to introduce more trains on this route by withdrawing all similar services from Harbour line where demand has not picked up as much as expected after the slashing the fares for journey tickets.
At present, CR runs a total of 44 services on its main line and 16 services on Harbour line, including 8 each between CSMT-Panvel and CSMT-Goregaon.
