Mumbai: The HC is hearing a petition where the state has sought setting aside of a consent decree between two private parties over ownership of a plot intended for Metro car shed. The Centre, through ASG Anil Singh, said the decree was a fraud on the court and it was the owner of the salt pan lands. The state, on the other hand, is claiming that certain lands are vested with it.
The HC bench of Justice Anil Menon on Tuesday concluded hearing of the state's application seeking to set aside the decree and reserved the matter for order on Wednesday.
