New Delhi: A concerted effort should be made to write historical accounts in right earnest instead of wasting time on debating distortions in Indian history, Union home minister Amit Shah said on Friday, saying the battle waged against foreign rule for 1,000 years had laid the foundation for the re-emergence of India as a proud nation.
