Results improve across all streams but arts notch above science, comm

While performance across streams improved in a year that had lectures mostly in online mode, it was Arts students whose scores were a notch above their science and commerce counterparts in the backdrop of the pandemic.

Mumbai: Science stream, which had 93,616 students from Mumbai division, registered a pass percentage of 95.52, nearly 4% more than 2020. A total of 88.33% of the 1.55 lakh commerce students emerged successful, around 3% more than 2020. Humanities discipline saw a 82.93% success rate, around 6% higher than in 2020- the highest jump. Last year, students across streams were awarded marks based on internal assessment after exams were cancelled due to the pandemic.
