New Delhi: While AAP's MLA-elect Durgesh Pathak polled more votes in areas such as Rajiv Gandhi Camp, Sonia Gandhi Camp, Budh Nagar, Bihari Colony and parts of Pandav Nagar, which are largely JJ clusters and resettlement areas, BJP's Rajesh Bhatia's vote share was more in Old Rajendra Nagar, New Rajendra Nagar, Naraina Vihar and Inderpuri, which are inhabited by financially stronger trading and working class.
Most Punjabi voters, who are considered pro-BJP, also live in these middle and upper-middle-class localities.
