Till May 17, 9,47,814 beneficiaries had taken the booster shot. Delhi government’s data showed that 33,12,727 people had been fully vaccinated by August 17, 2021, and were eligible for the precautionary dose. This figure includes healthcare workers, frontline workers, senior citizens, comorbid, and those aged between 18-59 years. A gap of nine months from the second dose is necessary for the booster shot.
